Discernment of Gifts

February 5, 2021 By Rev. Márton Egressy

Discerning what gifts the Lord has given us will help empower us to serve the Church and all creation. After Divine Liturgy on Meat Fare Sunday, we will do a Spiritual Gift Discernment exercise. Dan Lauffer will present about spiritual gifts and then we will do a personal gift discernment exercise which will help us discern what the Holy Spirit has gifted us with and will help the Church to understand better what gifts our members have for the upbuilding of the Church.

In preparation, read Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; and Ephesians 4.

Click here for the Discernment of Gifts exercise.

(This was developed by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and adapted for use in our own Byzantine parish context).
