Father Ken married my wife and I in 1986 in Andover, NY after we became friends at Saint Bonaventure University. I know that he left the OFM and joined the Byzantine Rite and remember attending mass at Saint Mary Byzantine Church in Olean, NY that he presided at many, many years ago. Sadly, I also learned that he passed away many years ago and is buried in New Jersey.

    Glory to Jesus Christ!

Fr. Kenneth Walsh was like a brother to me. Fr. Kenneth baptized my daughter Cecilia in 1988.

Fr. Kenneth was like a fraternal brother to me. Fr. Kenneth’s predecessor gave Holy Eucharist to my son in 1986 but did not continue to give precious mysteries to Greg.

When Fr. Kenneth became Pastor of Sacred Heart Byzantine Catholic Church in Livonia, MI, Fr. Kenneth stated who I am to keep the precious mysteries to an enlightened Servant of God!!!

Thank you so very much, Fr. Kenneth for all the support you provided me in your earthly life.

I was given an icon card by Fr. John Russell that was made while Fr. Kenneth was Pastor of St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church. I treasure the icon card and pray for Fr. Kenneth’s intercession to the Lord when I see the icon card.

Eternal Memory & Blessed Repose, Fr. Kenneth Walsh!!!
